Success For Skegness Swim Club In Regional Final Ahead Of The Grand Prix Final

A fantastic Swim by Team Skegness at Regionals on 29 April 2018.

Although nobody quite made the finals, many members of team produced personal bests and improve the rankings indicating it is just a matter of time.
Lucy Parker again a very impressive 3seconds off her personal best on her 100m Fly.
Charlie Miller came in 12th in the 100 Free in his regional event.
Jessica Wheaton gained 2sec Personal best on the 50 Free to finish 10th out of 40 11&12 year olds (she was the fastest 11 year old)
Isaac Banham did his 50 Fly in 34.11 to move him from 20th place in the region to 15th!

Undoubtedly, Skegness Swim club’s performance for such a small club is heading in the right direction as the very talented and highly respected Head Coach Charles Rogers is seriously getting the best out of these swimmers.

Today sees the last leg of the Grantham Grand Prix with up and coming swimmers taking part.  Sienna England White 12, Penny Paul, 9, Amy Holt 11, Jessica Wheaton 11, Imogen Wiles 10 and Eryn Hurdman 11.  Isaac Banham 12 was also due to take part today but suffered an injury (unrelated swimming incident) during the week and may have to sit this one out.  Previous results of the Grand Prix will still stand and update will be released in due course.

Good Luck for Today Team Skegness!!
